Indonesia's Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology met with a delegation from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Jakarta on June 29th to expand their academic partnership . The discussion focused on strengthening collaborative research, joint academic programs, and the exchange of students and faculty between the two countries . They reviewed the progress of the "INSPIRASI" program, which has already led to joint publications and research in strategic areas such as renewable energy, battery technology, and artificial intelligence for urban resilience . As part of the ongoing collaboration, NTU recently hosted 60 Indonesian students for a summer program and ran a workshop attended by nearly 30 Indonesian lecturers and researchers . The Indonesian minister expressed appreciation for the progress and encouraged more universities in the country to establish similar concrete collaborations with NTU.
